GreenPool design philosophy lies on resolving four critical problems in Conventional carpooling methods:

(iii) PAN Validation
(iv) Social Networking profiles like Facebook or LinkedIn
(v) Driving License/Car Registration verification
(b) On the fly matching of rides based on preferences including Workplace, Residential community, Gender, origination, destination, time of travel
(c) Feature to show the "Trust meter" based on back ground checks, social network profiles
(d) Ability to view the profiles & choose, send tracking URL to family/friends
(e) Convenient settlement process – Green Money(online Wallet) is a road map item
(f) Keep a track on the Green Miles (shared distance), Green Points, account statements are roadmap items
(g) Ratings of rider/driver to help people choose the right riding partner every time
